Dr. Meysam Shayegh “Dr. Sam” earned his dental degree in 2014. After completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Sam worked as a Research Assistant at UTHealth School of Dentistry in Houston for a year. Following the research experience, he continued his post-doctoral training as an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program resident at Howard University School of Dentistry in Washington DC, where he performed a broad range of advanced dental procedures. In addition, he completed a year of post-doctoral medical education in General Practice Residency at Howard University Hospital. He is also proficient in in multidisciplinary comprehensive oral health care and management of hospital patients and emergency room care.
He continually educates himself and his staff on the newest dental techniques and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners (Invisalign).
Dr. Sam enjoys practicing dentistry with his wife Dr. Khanna. Aside from dentistry, Dr. Sam enjoys swimming, water polo, working out, cooking delicious meals, and socializing with family and friends.
Dr. Sam and Khanna are very excited to be joining the family at Hampton Dental Center and to bring their passion and excellence to the wonderful community of Hampton and surrounding areas. Dr. Khanna is a Graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry where she completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. She also earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Army College of Dental Sciences in India and Masters in Public Health from UTHealth Science Center in Houston. She is a member of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Khanna takes continuing education classes with a focus on complex cosmetic and restorative dentistry, laser dentistry and esthetic dentistry. When not working she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, traveling, hiking, and cooking.
